Sophy and Kelly speak with two Democratic women in the Rhode Island General Assembly: Representative Moira Walsh and Senator Jeanine Calkin. Both women were elected in 2016 as progressives who defeated establishment incumbent Democrats. When the Rhode Island Democratic Party endorsed their primary opponents for the 2018 election it caused a national uproar.
